• The 2010 Sailing yacht Atlantic is magnificent replica of the 1903 William Gardner designed three-masted sailing schooner Atlantic, owned by Ed Kastelein. The 1903 sailing schooner was a long time World record holder for the crossing of the Atlantic Ocean under sail in 1905 winning the Kaiser's Cup from New York to The Lizard. The record held firm for almost a century, when it was broken in 1998. It is the longest standing speed record in the Yachting History. .The Owner, Ed Kastelein is the man responsible for the recreation of this wonderful new schooner Atlantic, and is also behind such projects as the sailing yacht Thendara, sailing yacht Aile Blanche, sailing yacht Borkumriff, sailing yacht Zaca a te Moana and most recently the Herreshoff racing schooner Eleonora E...The Dutch Van der Graaf yard first launched the Sailing Yacht Atlantic in 2008. Following her launch, she underwent an extensive programme of fitting out. 2009 saw the assembly of her three masts, with a height of 45 metres, supporting 1700m² of sails. Her raven black high gloss hull reflects the ripples of the water and one glance at the three towering masts, instantly give the sense of power that this mighty yacht Atlantic has...Sailing schooner Atlantic is the largest classic sailing schooner ever created, measuring 185 feet (56 metres) over deck and with the bowsprit to boom length of 227 feet (69 metres). Her graceful sheerline and long overhangs accentuate her grace while her waterline length of 42 meters and narrow beam are a promise for unmatched speed under sail...On June 23rd 2010, sailing schooner Atlantic sailed out to sea, three years after her keel was laid. The Owner, Ed Kastelein, saw his long term dream come true, as he witnesses his family, guest and crew step on board of Atlantic yacht. Her maiden voyage was a two month leisurely cruise from Rotterdam to Cannes and she exceeded all expectations, sailing fast at every point of sail with amazing ease and comfort.Yacht Charter Acco

 • Alex Laird restored Partridge over a long period of 20 years on the Isle of Wight and she made her debut at the Mediterranean regatta circuit in 1999. In the same year Yachting World wrote an article on Partridge and described her as “one of the prettiest gaff-rigged cutters in existence” and “she’s fast, very fast”. Designer:J Beavor Webb
• Runa IV made her first appearance, as promised, at Morbihan Week after her complete rebuild at Guip’s Brest yard. The magnificent gaff yawl, skippered by Louis-Vuitton Cup founder Bruno Troublé, impressed the onlookers as she sailed along the Morbihan coast. About 10,000 working hours were needed to restore the elegant lines of this classic racing yacht from Denmark. For the moment the yacht is receiving finishing touches at the Lorient yard before heading to the Mediterranean where Yves Carcelle, her owner, intends to enjoy some great racing alongside Runa V. Yann Mauffret is proud to «see Guip Shipyard flying the flag for Brittany in the south of France».

 • In 1910 Morton Plant commissioned Elena to be designed by American naval architect Nathanael Herreshoff, the “Wizard of Bristol”, who was famed for designing sailing yachts for America’s elite. Plant gave a wonderful design brief: build me a schooner that can win!

Herreshoff gave Elena a slightly deeper keel than preceding designs of that time, lowering her centre of ballast, which improved her windward ability. Fresh out of the shed, Elena won most of her early races against the cream of the American schooner fleet. Seventeen years later came her crowning glory - victory in the 1928 Trans-Atlantic Race.

 • SHENANDOAH is perhaps the most famous and desirable of all the classic yachts afloat today.

She combines all the attributes that make a yacht great – beauty, comfort, speed, and of course an excellent pedigree. After the chequered history that so many of her sisters have also lived through, SHENANDOAH is now enjoying the finest days in her long life, with an excellent owner, captain and crew looking after her every need. Following several refits over the last 15 years, she is now in a condition which will enable her to go on into the next century as gracefully as she entered this one, with many more long and exciting voyages ahead. Her fine and sea kindly hull has already graced the waters of the Pacific, the Antarctic, the North Atlantic, and many more, and now it is time for a new custodian to take the helm.

Moonbeam III was launched in 1903, hull n° 491 to leave the Fife yard. The result was a magnificent yacht which has now become one of the most successful classic yachts in the world. 2009 saw the assembly of her three masts, with a height of 45 metres, supporting 1700m? of sails. Her maiden voyage was a two month leisurely cruise from Rotterdam to Cannes and she exceeded all expectations, sailing fast at every point of sail with amazing ease and comfort.Yacht Charter Accom
